Bio
Dr. Hongxia Wang, Assistant Professor of Finance, joined Ashland University in 2009. Her areas of expertise include corporate finance, corporate governance, CEO turnover, succession, and compensation. She completed her undergraduate study at Henan College of Education, Zhengshou, China; earned her M.B.A., from Indiana University South Bend; and her Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Hongxia has published in academic journals, including Financial Management, the Journal of Empirical Finance, and theQuarterly Journal of Economics and Finance.
