The Paralegal Certificate Course is offered in partnership with The Center for Legal Studies in the following formats:
Live Lecture - The 84-hour live-lecture course, which is held on Saturdays and Sundays, begins June 8, 2013 and runs for 6 weekends ending July 21, 2013. (No classes July 6 and 7 for Independence Day.)
Classes will be held at Ashland University College of Business & Economics, 401 College Avenue, Ashland, Ohio. The curriculum is strong, the instructors are outstanding, and at $1189 (plus about $400 for books) the Paralegal Certificate Course is one of the quickest and most affordable paths available toward careers in the legal industry. The course teaches students how to investigate complex fact patterns, interview witnesses, research the law, prepare legal documents, and help prepare cases for courtroom litigation. Graduates of the program can specialize in such topics as criminal law, contracts, civil rights law, and environment law, just to name a few. Job search techniques are also included in the curriculum.

The online course is completed in 2 consecutive 7-week sessions and both sessions must be successfully completed in order to receive a certificate. Students may begin their course study with any online session offered.
