Dennis Gruber, EdD ATC

Dr. Randy Gearhart, Professor and Chair of the Dept. of Health Sciences, joined Ashland University in 2003. His areas of expertise include ratings of perceived exertion and also clinical exercise physiology. He holds a B.S. in natural science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. and Ph.D. in exercise physiology from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
