Program Outcomes Data
The athletic training education program (ATEP) at Ashland University is divided into two phases. The pre-professional phase of the program is the freshman year. Students formerly apply to the ATEP spring of their freshmen year; applications are due the second Monday in February and interviews are held the week before spring break (see AT Program Selective Admission Requirements).  The professional phase of the program is generally sophomore through senior years.

Employment Rate
Employment rate is defined as the percentage of graduates who were employed in athletic training or full-time advanced graduate study within six months of passing the Board of Certification examination. The data for the past graduating ATEP classes is provided below: (Cohorts are identified by year of  graduation)

Board of Certification Examination Results
A person must  graduate from an athletic training program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) and must also pass the Board of Certification (BOC) Examination in order to obtain  certification in athletic training.  The data for graduates of the Ashland University Athletic Training Education Program and BOC data are below.
