Bio

Nancy Thorne is proud to be a 1995 alumnus of Ashland University in the RN to BSN program. After experiencing the individual attention and uncompromising professionalism of AU’s program, she had the incentive to join the faculty and be a part of Ashland University where the focus is on the individual.

As a member of this respected profession and program, she gives her utmost effort to make each student successful. Currently, she is working to increase my skills in the Maternal Newborn Simulation Lab. These skills are extremely important because it is in the simulation lab where students are provided with opportunities to gain valuable skills that are not always achievable in the clinical setting.

She has a master’s degree at Walden University and graduated in December 2012 with a focus in Nursing Education. Her other interests include my family, camping, sewing and crocheting newborn hats for the hospital nursery.
