Bio

Dr. Darren D. Wick received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University; a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Utah State University; and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mathematics from the University of Oregon. Dr. Wick came to Ashland University in 2000 following 5 years as a member of the Department of Mathematics at Millsaps College. He has taught a wide variety of courses in his career, most recently Elementary Statistics, Calculus, Numerical Analysis, and History of Mathematics. His research interests include Associative Ring Theory and Algebra, the Foundations of Mathematics, and Open Source Software Applications.
