Biography
  • Joined the Family and Consumer Sciences Department in 1988
  • Served as department chair for the last 9 years 
  • Played an active role in the development and implementation of the Gerontology certificate and minor
  • Completed two terms as a Faculty Senator
  • Twice selected by students as Outstanding Female Faculty of the Year
  • Recipient of the Academic Mentor Award
  • Became Assistant Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences in summer of 2013
