Award Winning Ashland Poetry Press

One of Ashland University’s Ashland Poetry Press books, “The Rigid Body” by Gabriel Spera, has been named as one of three finalists in the 2013 Benjamin Franklin Awards Competition.

The Rigid Body

Sarah Wells, administrative director of the Master of Fine Arts program at Ashland University, said that Spera’s book, “The Rigid Body,” was selected as one of three finalists in the category of Poetry/Literary Criticism.

Wells will be representing the Poetry Press and will receive the Benjamin Franklin Award at the awards ceremony that will be held in New York City on May 29. Read more...
